Once you have chosen an inference from Chapters 1 through 10 post your response. It must be at least a paragraph long.

Reread the second half of pg 8. When Patrick and Julia joined the Wiggle Club, do you think they had a disadvantage to everyone else?

Yes. It says that most club members signed up in January. Since they signed up in March, they have 3 less months than everyone else to do their projects. Even though they have a while until August, they are still at a disadvantage by not having as much time. Also, many of the other club members already have theirs started.

Halfway down pg 104 Patrick asks Kenny if he would check the temperature everyday when he gets home. Why do you think he asked Kenny? Why is this so important for the project?Do you think Kenny will ruin their project?

It is important for the project because if it gets too cold the worms could die. Since Kenny is at home, before Patrick and Julia get home, he is the only one that can check on the worms and see the temperature. I think Patrick asked Kenny because if Julia did, Kenny probably would not have responded in the same way. Also, Patrick is giving Kenny a way of feeling responsible for the project, so he will be more careful not to ruin it.
